HOLIDAY TREATS

Hello everyone, thanks for stopping by.  For Christmas this year I made some Chocolate Covered Pretzel Rods & Knots. Dark Chocolate, White Chocolate and Peanut Butter Icing.  Also, I covered Oreos in Dark Chocolate and White Chocolate as well.  Everyone loved them. I also made my own Christmas Cards using my BigShot Machien with metal dies.  I hope everyone had a great holiday.

FAVORS FOR THANKSGIVING

 I had a few guests over for Thanksgiving.  I created some favors using the artwork from napkins, I glued the artwork to plain cardstock. I use a scrubbie dish towel and rolled some Hershey's Chocolate Minis in the center, used pipe-cleaners to hold the dish towel in place, then glued the artwork to the pipe-cleaner.  A simple and easy favor to make, and something they guest can use after they eat the chocolates. 

Halloween Treat Bags

 I created these treat bags for my daughter for her clients at her shop.  I used the Stampin Up Treat Bag Thinlits.  The Halloween decor is an old collection by Recollections.   Let me know what you think. Thanks for stopping by.

MICHAEL'S SALE

Hello everyone it has been a while.  I have decided to do some crafting.  I took a trip to Michaels and their entire bead section was on sale this week.  I picked up a few pieces to make Earrings.

2020 Quarantine Dinner

Hello every one, here in New York we have been put on quarantine until April 20th.  My hubby's birthday was March 30, we decided to do a family quarantine dinner for him.  We had stewed chicken, stuffing, mixed vegetables, candied yams, baked macaroni & cheese, baked asparagus, Spanish yellow rice, cupcakes, Pina Colada, and sweet white wine.  We had a good time.

 

 

 

Birthday Cards

Hello my fellow crafters, it has been a while since my last post.  I started to make cards. I purchased a few dies from amazon, for my bigshot machine.   Here is my first one for this year.  I made this card for my son's birthday.  I kept it really simple.  Let me know what you think. NOTE PADS

I used my Bind-It-All yesterday and made a few note pads out of the large gift cards and copy paper.  My son chose the Gears of War for himself.  Thanks for stopping by.

RETIREMENT FAVORS

The Director of the program where I work has decided to retire this year.  On August 7th we had a celebration breakfast at the office.  I made 18 Party Favor Mason Jars.  I got the idea from Arlene "MyButterflyKisses12".  You can see the video on her channel.  I put my own spin on the labels and made them removable with velcro.  My daughter helped me put them together and they came out really nice, and everyone loved their jars.   Here are a few pics. GLUE HOLDERS

I learned to create these from Aleene Jackson on Creative Living Show.  They are made from the top of a 2-liter bottle of soda.  Here are my creations using fabric and bling on one and paper and stickles on the other.  I am going to feature how to make these on my new youtube channel, so look out for that as well.  Let me know what you think.  Thanks for stopping by.
