Easter Favors

Creating something for the kiddies at Easter. I use the Easter cartridge to cut the baskets and eggs, filled with candies and placed a small bunny in the larger baskes, they makes a great party favors. I also scored the coverlet box for the smarties with my Martha Stewart Scoreboard and embellished with stickers. The box fits on really nicely and you can find that box project over at Dandelion Designs she has some wonderful designs. Be sure to stop by CreativeHayesCreations for more creative projects.

Crocheted & Taffeta Flowers

Created the blue/green taffeta flowers using the Tim Holtz Tattered Florals and my heat gun. Inspiration comes from Sacrafters on youtube. I think they came out really nice for my first try. And the second set of flowers were crochet by me. the crochet cotton is my favorite ones. I just have to get use to using the thin thread and the small needle. The make great embellishments for mini albums or any altered project.

Recycled Gift Cards

After seeing Greenbean's project I decided to gathered my cards, which I use for spreading glue onto my projects. I also use the faux credit cards from the CC companies offering you credit. These work just as well as the plastic gift cards. I used my Bind-It-All to bind them together. A great memo pad for your purse, not to small and not to big. You can order the Bind-It-All from Zutter.

Altered Photo Album Purse

Here is another project I work on for someone's birthday. Michael's had these on clearance for $1. After seeing Alrene alter hers, I decided to try it using some of the Recollections embellishments. I didn't want to post until the birthday lady received her gift. I think this one came out pretty okay too.

Altered Birthday Box

I was inspired by Arlene over at Butterflykisses after seeing her box, I had to make one for my friend for her birthday. Using the embellishments that I had on hand, I completed my altered project yesterday evening. I think it came out pretty nice. These make great Birthday gifts and Mother's Day gifts.
